De quel programme êtes-vous le plus proche?
I did this quiz from Le Monde about the French presidential elections a few weeks ago, and the only thing I can remember is that I was most in agreement with the programs of José Bové and Ségolène Royal - I forget who the third match was. I saw an entry on this quiz on Superfrenchie's blog today, and took the quiz again, and this is how I scored this time:

- Dominique Voynet, 48, an anesthesiologist, is the candidate of Les Verts, the Green Party. I know practically nothing about her.
- Ségolène Royal, 53, a "classically" trained French politician (a graduate of the Ecole Nationale d'Administration), is the candidate of the Socialist Party, and one of the top three contenders in the upcoming French presidential election. Most do not really give her a chance against Nicolas Sarkozy, because they claim that she is basically incompetent.
- José Bové, 54, an anti-GMO farmer, is a self-proclaimed "altermondialiste" (he is against globalization), and served some prison time for having dismantled (in 1999) a McDonald's under construction (to protest the U.S. tax on Roquefort cheese after the EU had banned the importation of hormone-raised meat.)
If you read French and want to know more about the 12 candidates, go here.
Right now, according to a Sofres poll, the predictions are, for the first round:
1. Sarkozy, with 30% of the votes.
2. Royal, with 27% of the votes.
3. Bayrou, with 18% of the votes.
And, for the record, Voynet would earn only 1%, and Bové 2.5% of the votes.
According to the same poll, Sarkozy will defeat Royal in the second round (52% vs. 48% of the votes.)

Under Royal's section you posted both the words "politician" and "incompetent"...
::giggles::
I took the test and -- guess what? My preferences go to Sarkozy!
I believe I will kill myself not later than tonight.
Tim - Yeah, "incompetent politician" is, alas!, not an oxymoron!
FX - Damn. How could this have happened? Well, at least, your preferences did not go to Le Pen. Then, your suicide would have been more immediate. Anyway, do NOT kill yourself, just vote your conscience on April 22.
Dominique Voynet is an anesthesiologist? Who knew?
